I have been the wise oak tree,
I have soared with the eagle’s wings,
I have been a dolphin under wave in the sea,
I have experienced the silent meditation of the mountains,
I have played upon the wind,
I was woven into the warrior’s battle cry,
I have been broken like ice upon a lake,
I have seen life’s beauty flush upon a flower petal,
I once pounded upon distant shores as a mighty wave,
I was once the final breath of a lost child in the forgotten woods,
I was a spoken word amongst a sonnet,
I am a student of Brighid,and the turtle hermit.
I am a druid, I am a warrior.
