I have almost always lived in conservative, heavily Christian areas that are quite intolerant to my religion. I also moved around a lot. So, it was difficult to find a coven. I have worked with study circles in the past and have met with pagan social groups from time to time. Once we settle down in one area for a few years, I really would like to regularly meet with a coven or circle of some sort. I have studied Paganism for over fifteen years and have done a little spellwork and had plenty of sabbat celebrations. I have plenty of other things to say, but do not feel comfortable sharing such things with strangers. The intolerance of the people that I have lived around has sadly instilled some paranoia on my part.

They girl at the pet store said that because it was dropped off there, they were not allowed to charge for it.   I love her so much... she is just the greatest cat I have ever had.  I will have to post a pic of her.  I put some up of my tarantula's.

That's awesome about your cat... how come the pet store was giving her away?

I love my ocicat so much.  I found her for FREE at the local pet store 3 months ago.  When I first saw her I knew she was just meant for me.   I brought her home, and I have to admit, she was very intimidating at first, she is larger then she looks.  But very soon we just clicked, and now she goes everywhere I go.  She sleeps at my feet, and even pushes my husband out the bed away from me.    When she is not in our bed, she sits above my dresser beside my bed and watches me sleep.  I feel very connected with her.

I have 3 daughters.... 14, 9, and 5.   They keep me on my toes, great girls tho... I could not ask for any better behaved kids.

Thank you! That's weird about the swinger thing. I have three sons-- ages 14, 9 and almost 2. Oh, and how do you like your ocicat? We have a bengal/siamese kitten that is affectionate and beautiful, but quite aggressiive.

I like your page.   I understand your fears about places you have lived as well.  I live in the southern Bible belt of South Carolina.  Most people see my pentagram necklace and think I am a devil worshipper, or think I am a swinger (still not sure where they get that idea from).

Merry Meet!

Thanks for the add request. I can understand about the intolerance, it does make a person wary about saying more than they should. Welcome to Covenspace. I look forward to talking to you.
