My name is KC or Oak Rhapsody. I live in North East Raleigh and attend Duke University Graduate school. My majors are Psychology with concentrations in Child and Criminal and also Social Work. I plan on getting my Masters in Social Work and my Doctorate in Psychology. I want to own and run my own extended stay shelter for victims of abuse, for all people, but with a special focus on men and young boys because I feel the ball has been dropped when it comes to abuse and men as victims. Currently I am 23 yrs old [But will be 24 in January!!!] and have been studying Wicca since 2002. I study Solitaire but I am actively looking for a Teacher, Tradition, and/or Coven to join up with. I am really interested in British Traditional Wicca but I am open to learning about all Traditions out there, and make an informed decision once I have enough information. Lineage is something that is very important to me. I really feel I have gone as far as one can without the help of a more experienced Guide. I am very Empathetic and also enjoy researching and using Musical energies. I am also interested in Chakras and Chakra Healing and Strengthening through the use of music, as well as Tarot reading. I love to sing all types of music, I have a Zen Creativity filled with every range of music. From country to classical; hip hop and new age celtic and african I love it all. Music is the universal language, its everywhere and in everything, and everything responds to it. I'm always humming or singing something. I also enjoy traveling. I love going to new places, hearing different accents, learning different urban legends. I love seeing new places and getting the different feel for them. My ultimate destinations are Ireland, New Zealand and Africa. I'm also a BIG animal lover. I especially love Dogs, Horses and Tigers. I hope to be able to see, and actually touch a Tiger one day. There is such a powerful beauty and grace in them that mesmerizes me. Though I would most definitely not test Fate and try and keep one as a pet. They are meant to be in the wild, harmonizing with Nature as Deity intended. Outside of that, I LOVE to read. I'm always reading like for or five books at a time. Between Barnes and Nobles, Ed McKays Used Books and More, and Amazon.com I say I spend like half a paycheck a month on books. I love to read EVERYTHING!! Anne McCaffrey and Marion Zimmer Bradley are my two favs. Jim Butcher is raising in my ranks too, I LOVE the Codex Alera series. Christopher Paolini is up there too, the Inheritance Cycle is great. I like Scott Cunningham also, and some things by DJ Conway. Gerald Gardner of course is another favorite of mine. I love to laugh and have fun. I can be very playful, but all in moderation...most of the time lol. Whats life without a little spontaneity and splurging?
