"All men should strive to learn before they die what they are running from, and to, and why." ~James Thurber
I've been practicing as a solitary a long time, but for Sabbats I am part of a loose circle since 2001. I live with a great family of husband, 2 kids and 1 cantankerous house rabbit. I work as a graphic designer for my town newspaper after abandoning 15 years as a healthcare professional. I desperately needed a change.

pigeons, bats (ok, on this one, they're great so long as they stay outdoors, but I live in a house they manage to get into w/frequency, even after it's been pest-proofed,) anchovies, and on a more serious note: people unwilling to budge beyond their small minds, so INTOLERANCE.

I will read almost anything from how to grout your tub to understanding the universe. A definite bibliophile. Wuthering Heights is probably my favorite book of all time. It has everything, love, loss, hunger, greed, fear, jealousy, death, pathology, a ghost. Second favorite book is Lavondyss by Robert Holdstock. Enjoyed all the Harry Potter Books, loved the Pern series by Anne McCaffrey... Twilight series, and the book Sunshine by Robin McKinley and Tam Lin by Pamela Dean... anything about Wicca, Craft, Tarot, Occult.

Movies are the modern stories “told about the fire,” some are junk, but some are extraordinary in that they describe who we are as humans and who we desire to be. Also, I'm a sap. I don't require a happy ending, but I do require an emotionally satisfying ending. One of my favorite movies is "Love Actually" and the way it depicts so many different kinds of love between people, all of them fragile in some ways, and remarkably strong and enduring at the same time. How's that for magic?
