I am an artist and art student--I mostly make Goddess and Pagan themed paintings. I am a vegan but not annoyingly so (I hope.) I live in NY with my sweetheart and our little dog. I follow a Goddess-oriented path and I am working through Christopher Penczak's Temple of Witchcraft series (I am on the third book--Temple of Shamanic Witchcraft) but I adapt the work heavily to fit my personal style. I am Irish, Scottish, French, Italian, German and Cherokee and I do my best to honor my mixed ancestry.

food (especially chocolate), friendship, the furry tribes, myth and folklore, painting, sculpting, the beach, the tree people, the sun, the moon, the earth, the ocean, writing, reading, meditation, ritual, dancing alone in the dark, journeying, aspecting, making incense and oil blends, studying different ancient and modern religions, making apple pies (and eating them!), looking at art, searching for books, deep communication, music, getting my feet and hands muddy, labyrinths, my family (especially my niece and nephew--sooo cute!), getting mail and email, love!

illness, pain, the news, war, poverty, pollution, cruelty, small talk, betrayal, prejudice, celery, depression, anxiety, feeling alienated, losing loved ones

collecting art, reading books, collecting glass and stones from the beach (don't worry, I always ask the stones if they want to come home with me first), cooking and creating new recipes, taking long walks with my honey and my doggie

I read between 60 and 75 books a year (i used to read 100, but have slowed down over the past few years) but some of my favorite books are: Patricia Monaghan's "O Mother Sun!", Starhawk's "Sprial Dance", and Demetra George's "Mysteries of the Dark Moon".
I don't read much fiction because I like to have a dozen books going at once. Recently I have been trying out books of poetry. And there is always art books!

Mostly various genre's of punk rock (and alternative music), but I also listen to all kinds of Pagan music--and Iowaska combines the two so I love them best!
