Here is the notice that was posted on the old Covenspace site. This notice was on the old site for nearly two months. I know that this is coming as a shock to some people, but there wasn't anything more I could do to announce it. I do apologize to anyone who had blogs, comments, or photos at the old site that have been lost. The old Covenspace site no longer exists, so please do not ask me to retrieve anything for you.

Due to a number of issues with the hosting service, I've decided to take matters into my own hands and have re-built the site on my own server.

The site is very similar, but be prepared to learn a few things as you find your way around.

Before you go bursting through the place, please take a few minutes to read through the FAQs and instructions that I have so thoughtfully put together. Actually read through the rest of this page, and THEN go to these pages:

Covenspace 101 this is a shorter quick list of things you need to know, outlining the main features and explaining how things are same/different to the old site.

Covenspace FAQ longer list of questions and answers, hopefully covering everything you might want to know about the new site.

Those two pages should help you get started. You can find them again by clicking on the *Help* link in the top menu bar at the new site.

When you are ready to take the plunge, go ahead and sign up. Try to use the same usernames you had here, so that everyone can (sort of) keep track of everyone else.

Once you have registered, your best place to get any help is the message Forum (there is a link in the top menu bar of the new site). You can post your questions there, and I have several people watching the board who can hopefully help. If all else fails, you can send a message to the Administrator of the site). You'll get a welcome message from me automatically when you join, and I'll be right there on your friends list so you can find me. Please try the forums before emailing me directly though. Also, read through the FAQs before posting too.

Unfortunately, you cannot take any of your existing blog material with you. Well, at least there is no way for me to transfer your account content to the new site. I'm terribly sorry about this, I tried my best to get something to work but the two systems are just incompatible.
