Quote:...I ain't got no money but I damn sure got it made. Cuz I ain't askin' nobody for nothin', if I can't get it on my own. If ya don't like the way I'm livin', ya just leaved this long haired country boy alone. -Charlie Daniels

Well I said I am married with a 4 year old son and a little nearly 3 month old daughter. I have been pagan for 16 years give or take.

We are homesteaders, if you know what that is great if you don't here it is in a nutshell. Homesteaders are sort of back to the landers. Each is different but some of the main ideas that many prescribe to including myself, is simple and sustainable. We try to grow mush of our own food, veggies and meat. I am slowly working out the kinks in gardening, we also have a small orchard of apples, pears, and few other fruit trees, and grapes. Currently we raise dairy goats, sheep, and chickens. This will be my first year butchering sheep as well we hope to spin wool from them...so far with no succcess. Eventually I hope to be off grid as well.

Combine this with paganism and I believe you get a good glympse at how our pagan ancestors lived. Why and when certain rituals were preformed. I believe living likes this also draws you closerto my religion by being so close to life and death. It also allows me to be more honest with myself and see things in the commercial, egotistical, and self destructing world around me.

The VitaMix is not a bread machine. It's a juicer, blender, grinder - It even makes ice cream or soup in the thing. I spent that money for it and figured I'd best justify the purchase! In truth, the whole wheat bread was wonderful. It held together just fine for sandwhiches and buttering with soup. I was a bit worried about the texture going in. Directions say if you want a softer bread, knead it by hand for 2 minutes before letting it rise. I think the thing that surprised me, was how fast it DID rise. It's very different and fast and really took the excuse out of baking. How's that for a VitaMix commercial? lol

PS...Good Morning!
